Yesteryear Collection



Recovery work was done by a variety of armed forces trucks and repurposed vehicles, often improvised or based on existing chassis rather than specialised designs. Most recovery was done by rigging up whatever transport vehicles were on hand or having workshop lorries assist.

Description: RAF-blue body & chassis; tan cab tilt; black radiator grille; maroon seats; raf-blue plated parts; raf-blue 12 spoke wheels; 14 in white on both sides of truck body and on rear of loadbed; RAF in white on bonnet and on both sides of truck body; fitted with steel plate headboard and crane jib assembly mounted on top of load bed.
